About
We built Kept because “we should hang out” kept winning.
Almost everyone has a group chat full of plans that never happened, and a list of things they would do if they had people to do them with. Kept is for both.
Why Kept exists
The plan was never the hard part.
Saying yes is easy. Showing up is hard. A free yes costs nothing, so it means nothing, and when half the group quietly drops out, the plan dies and the people who did come feel silly.
Meanwhile, there are people nearby who would love that exact plan. They just do not know it is happening, or anyone going.
Kept fixes both halves. It helps you find people into the same things, and it puts a small, refundable commitment behind every yes, so the plan you join is the plan that happens.

Showing up
The whole product is built around the moment you arrive. Everything else supports it.
Easy yeses
Small groups, clear details, first names, a host who says hello. Saying yes to strangers should feel easy.
Safety by design
Public places, addresses after joining, a safety button in every plan, and people who read every report.
Honest numbers
We show fees before you commit, say what a hold is and is not, and only show stats when they are real.
Doing it again
A good plan should lead to the next one. Clubs, albums and regulars are how a city gets friendlier.
What we will not do
Some lines, drawn in advance.
- Become a dating app. No swipes, no photo grids, no gender filters.
- Sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to anyone.
- Guilt you with streaks. We celebrate showing up and never nag you for a week off.
- Invent reviews, numbers or testimonials. If a number is on this site, it is real.
- Hide fees. Every fee is on the pricing page, and on the plan before you commit.
No big numbers yet, and no fake ones either.
Kept is new. When there are enough kept plans for a number to mean something, it will show up here, straight from the live data.
