How soon do instant plans start?
Within a few hours of being posted. Anything further out is a regular plan.
Can I turn off right-now nudges?
Yes, any time, in settings. They are off until you turn them on.
Is the hold the same for instant plans?
Yes. The same amount and the same rules. Because instant plans start soon, the late-cancel window usually applies from the moment you join, so only say yes if you are going.
Is it safe to meet strangers?
We build for it. Plans happen in public places, new hosts must start there, the exact address goes only to people who joined, and every plan has a safety button. Trust your gut: you can leave any plan, any time.
How do I check in?
When you arrive, open the plan and tap “You’re here.” Most hosts show a code to scan; some plans use your location instead. Checking in is what releases your hold.
