How a good one runs
What a good dance plan looks like
The host sets a simple prompt or project, basics are provided when the plan says so, and there is a share-out at the end for anyone who wants one. The pace is posted, and the group regroups at every turn. It starts at a set time, so the group arrives together instead of trickling in. Most plans land between 4 and 20 people: enough energy, still easy to learn names.
Tip for your first one: nobody is judging. Most people at a creative plan came to try something new, same as you.

Dance questions
Do I need to be good at dance?
No. Hosts label every dance plan with a level: all levels, beginner friendly, intermediate or advanced. Pick the one that matches you today. If you are unsure, beginner friendly is always a safe first plan.
What does the $10 commitment do?
It is a hold on your card, not a charge. Show up and it is released. Cancel 24+ hours before and it is released in full. Cancel later and 50% is kept, unless someone from the waitlist takes your spot. If you do not show up, it is kept.
What if the host cancels?
Every hold is released automatically, and you get a message straight away. The same happens if the plan does not reach its minimum number of people.
Love dance? Host it.
Give people a small, clear thing to make. A prompt beats a blank page, and a share-out gives the night a shape. Suggested hold: $10.
