What a good live music plan looks like
Tickets are sorted before anyone commits, there is a meeting spot and a time, and the group has an idea for after. Introductions come first, so nobody is left at the edge of the group. Most plans land between 3 and 10 people: enough energy, still easy to learn names.
Tip for your first one: if the plan says to buy a ticket, buy it before you commit. Your hold covers showing up, not the show.

Live music questions
Do I need to be good at live music?
No. There are no levels for live music. People come for the company as much as the thing itself.
What does the $10 commitment do?
It is a hold on your card, not a charge. Show up and it is released. Cancel 24+ hours before and it is released in full. Cancel later and 50% is kept, unless someone from the waitlist takes your spot. If you do not show up, it is kept.
What if the host cancels?
Every hold is released automatically, and you get a message straight away. The same happens if the plan does not reach its minimum number of people.
Love live music? Host it.
Say in the plan whether people need their own ticket, and pick a meeting spot that is easy to find in a crowd. Suggested hold: $10.
