How a good one runs
What a good coffee plan looks like
A good social plan has a clear start time, a table or a spot already sorted, and a host who does the first round of introductions. No experience needed, nothing to prove. At 3 to 6 people it stays small enough that everyone talks to everyone.
Tip for your first one: arrive on time. The first ten minutes are when the introductions happen, and joining a table at the start is easier than joining it late.

Coffee questions
Do I need to be good at coffee?
No. There are no levels for coffee. People come for the company as much as the thing itself.
What does the $5 commitment do?
It is a hold on your card, not a charge. Show up and it is released. Cancel 24+ hours before and it is released in full. Cancel later and 50% is kept, unless someone from the waitlist takes your spot. If you do not show up, it is kept.
What if the host cancels?
Every hold is released automatically, and you get a message straight away. The same happens if the plan does not reach its minimum number of people.
Love coffee? Host it.
Pick a place you like, set a time, and cap it at a size where everyone can actually talk. Suggested hold: $5.
