How a good one runs
What a good pickleball plan looks like
The court is booked, the level is posted, the host brings a ball, and teams rotate so nobody sits out long. The exact meeting spot goes to people who joined, and the host keeps an eye on the forecast. Introductions come first, so nobody is left at the edge of the group. Most plans land between 4 and 12 people: enough energy, still easy to learn names.
Tip for your first one: pick a plan marked for your level. Beginner friendly means beginner friendly. Nobody minds a missed shot. Everybody minds a no-show.

Pickleball questions
Do I need to be good at pickleball?
No. Hosts label every pickleball plan with a level: all levels, beginner friendly, intermediate or advanced. Pick the one that matches you today. If you are unsure, beginner friendly is always a safe first plan.
What does the $10 commitment do?
It is a hold on your card, not a charge. Show up and it is released. Cancel 24+ hours before and it is released in full. Cancel later and 50% is kept, unless someone from the waitlist takes your spot. If you do not show up, it is kept.
What happens if the weather turns?
The host makes the call. If they cancel for weather, the plan closes and every hold is released automatically. You do not need to do anything.
Love pickleball? Host it.
Book the court, post the level honestly, and set a minimum so the game only happens if enough people commit. Suggested hold: $10.
