How a good one runs
What a good cook together plan looks like
The table is booked before anyone commits, the price range is in the plan, and everyone pays for what they order. Everyone leaves with something they made, finished or not. Somebody who knows the ropes takes a few minutes to get newcomers going. Most plans land between 4 and 8 people: enough energy, still easy to learn names.
Tip for your first one: check the price range before you commit. The hold is separate from what you eat, and it comes back when you show up.

Cook together questions
Do I need to be good at cook together?
No. Hosts label every cook together plan with a level: all levels, beginner friendly, intermediate or advanced. Pick the one that matches you today. If you are unsure, beginner friendly is always a safe first plan.
What does the $15 commitment do?
It is a hold on your card, not a charge. Show up and it is released. Cancel 24+ hours before and it is released in full. Cancel later and 50% is kept, unless someone from the waitlist takes your spot. If you do not show up, it is kept.
What if the host cancels?
Every hold is released automatically, and you get a message straight away. The same happens if the plan does not reach its minimum number of people.
Love cook together? Host it.
Book the table first, then post the plan with the real price range, so people commit knowing roughly what the bill looks like. Suggested hold: $15.
